Over 200 five-star client reviews, grouped by the kind of work we did.
Designli is a custom software company in Greenville, South Carolina that builds web and mobile products for non-technical founders. Since 2013, we've collected over 200 five-star reviews from past clients.

What do clients say about the SolutionLab?
SolutionLab is the paid discovery engagement that opens most Designli projects. Reviewers point to the same outcomes: a costed feature list, a navigable prototype, and a written plan they could take to investors or an internal board, all before writing a line of production code.
After SolutionLab, Designli's team put together a detailed and thorough document that outlined exactly how this app will work. The document included all features available on the player/dart side, along with information and details on how the platform will work on the backend with our employees and dart coordinators.
After having poor experiences with the software development industry in the past, it was incredibly refreshing to meet Designli. They spoke in laymen's terms, which allowed for constructive dialog and better ideas. The SolutionLab is very well organized.
I've been thoroughly impressed at every stage of their work. They've delivered above and beyond my expectations. They've even gone out of their way to make introductions for me, showing my app to potential investors.
I have a background in software, so I thought my idea was pretty reliable. After speaking with Designli, I realized there were several things I hadn't considered. Their new perspective and valuable insight helped me fill in some of the gaps in my original idea.
I knew what our prototype was in our minds, but Designli made it much more than a reality. They made the prototype better than we had imagined, so the end product was spectacular.
Designli successfully delivered the prototype for this project, as well as the outline and blueprints for the final product. Overall, the quality of the prototype met our expectations. […] I've only worked with another potential provider who didn't exactly do what Designli did.
I've worked with freelancers in the past, but Designli is the first company I've worked with in this area. Their team is super quick, probably faster than other providers out there.
We were amazed once we received the deliverables because Designli went the extra mile. The team adjusted some design elements according to our last comments. Designli delivered two prototypes: one for the main flow and the other for a specific feature of our app.
Over the past 6 years we have engaged a number of different developers and development teams to build a variety of software tools for our company. None used a tool as effective and understandable as the SolutionLab. Being able to see the time and cost components on a feature by feature basis was instrumental in guiding us in our selection of the version 1 software features.
How fast does Designli ship an MVP?
Reviewers report a first working product in real users' hands inside 30 days, with the engagement continuing into a second phase afterwards.
We've achieved the MVP in 30 days. We've continued with new features, and we're now working on the first iteration after the MVP. Designli has met my expectations.
Although we're still at the very early stages of development, Designli has completed the MVP prototype on schedule and above expectations. I've received very positive feedback from current industry professionals. The prototype's simplicity and ease of use are extremely surprising, given the software's complexity.
Designli delivered a great prototype that I'm using to build investors' confidence and get more validation from target customers. The team also delivered an implementation-ready tech document that was super detailed and thorough.
Designli has delivered the MVP and is ready to push into phase 2. We're testing in-house now and will launch our pilot on June 1, 2026. […] I'm impressed by their ability to see the vision and make the build modularly expandable for the future.
The fact that I now have a fully designed UI and a functionality chart is a very successful result. Having those designs took a lot of weight off my shoulders.
What happens in an Impact Week?
Impact Week is a one-week senior audit of an existing product and codebase. Clients describe the same sequence: pointed questions about what they are building, a review of the existing code, then a written findings report and a plan for what to do next.
I engaged with Designli for a Start-up Impact Week, which is aptly named. They first met with me to ask pointed questions about what I am building, what I’d want to accomplish if I were to see my vision through and where I am now with my build. They then reviewed the code of the prototype/beta product I have now and finally made a detailed plan about the way forward with the project.
The Impact Week with Designli was nothing short of a fantastic experience. It gave us an external view of where we are on our product development lifecycle, improvements/alternative areas to consider, and where we could best utilize Designli's expertise.
What impressed us most was the consistency and reliability of their assessment. We had three separate teams auditing the software, and Designli's conclusions aligned directly with the top contenders we were considering for the fix. That level of precision and professionalism gave us tremendous trust in their expertise.
As a SAAS Founder, I've had my ups and downs dealing with 3rd party developers and designers so I was a bit hesitant to hire another company to audit my current system and give me their feedback. They took the time and attention necessary to not only understand my software but the industry and my clients. They came back with concepts and an entire revision of my product.
Can Designli rescue a failed build?
Several reviewers arrived after a previous team stalled or delivered poorly, and describe measurable recoveries: page load times cut from twenty seconds to under two with sales up, and more delivered in two and a half months than a prior team managed in a year.
We worked with big firms in Silicon Valley but Designli has been our brightest partner. They have so much talent. Their team has ideas that we haven't considered, which is a new concept for us.
Designli has done more in 2.5 months than the previous team had done in a year. The app is working, and we're using it in our driving school. It's doing what it's supposed to do.
I trusted Designli after having a HORRIBLE experience with another development company. Designli was the best decision I ever made and I wish I would have made it sooner.
What is it like working with Designli long term?
The longest relationships in these reviews run several years, Clients describe weekly written reports with hours logged, access to project tracking, and a team that adapts as the product changes. Several note the same people stay on the product rather than rotating off it.

AI development.
AI built into a working product rather than run as an experiment: patient-matching marketplaces, recommendation systems, and non-generative computer vision.
Our platform has seen about a 30% increase in feature enhancements. Designli has also redeveloped and redesigned our entire backend infrastructure, enabling us to reach the scale we're looking for.
They have a very good process for gathering feedback from multiple stake-holders, a great [process] to get clarity around a new solution.

For technologies, we're using non-generative AI and computer vision technologies with multi-modal components. […] They're truly professional and have a streamlined and top-notch approach to the project.
Go-to-market strategy and validation.
Competitor research, market validation and the route from a finished build to a first paying customer.
Since we had been plagued with numerous site issues and other factors, we only had $3,000 in sales for the period between June and September. After Designli took over, our sales went up by 300%.
At the end of the SolutionLab process, they let us know what they thought could be a viable, go-to-market strategy and solution, and they broke it into different phases and stages. […] What distinguishes Designli is that they ask the hard questions while respecting our idea and the work we're trying to do. […] We've been delighted throughout the process; we're not experts in this area, and they've been our trusted advisor throughout it.
Designli researched the market to assess our competitors and then analyzed it before the project began. […] They analyzed the market research and had nice visuals paired with it. […] They follow our direction and pay attention to our thoughts. Their team heard our wants and needs and then executed them.
They brought a technological perspective, and they did a lot of research on my competitors to help differentiate our software in the market. […] My experience with them is phenomenal. They really understand my vision, and I don't have to over-explain anything.
Designli is helping us take our product from an existing Figma file into a production ready, AWS hosted, SaaS platform. As part of this process, [Designli] helped us in defining the core components of our application and laid out a roadmap that ensured a cost effective and speedy go to market timeframe.
I've been using the prototype to gauge market interest. I've been sending out different ads through social media, and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback on the prototype.
Their CEO was especially helpful in molding our business for the better and identifying the right marketing strategies that could work for us.
Mobile apps.
Native iOS and Android work, from scoping through store launch.
We began working together in August 2025, and the design phase was completed in November. However, our engagement is ongoing because we want to continue working with them on the app development. […] The team can refine our big ideas and scale their resources with the right people to accomplish what we have in mind.
The app has interactive video content that kids can watch with their parents; their choices determine which educational content they'll be served. Designli has used Flutter and React to make the app cross-platform. […] They deliver high-quality products and are great to work with.
Initially, I had a complicated idea that wasn't doable with iOS. Designli broke down the idea into what I was trying to accomplish and its benefits. Together, we've developed a simplified approach that works across Android and iOS. […] The team is very good at following up and being thorough when answering my questions, and they reply to them within the same day. Moreover, each and every member of their team is pleasant to engage with.
We knew what we wanted as far as the information that needed to be in the app, but they took us from the first step all the way to the end. Designli walked us through how best to build it and what features to include. They then built a native app for both iOS and Android.
The SolutionLab was exhausting but incredibly insightful and helped us narrow down our key features, i.e., smartwatch, voice to text search, etc.. Katie then sent the roadmap and user profiles and after a few tweaks we moved on to the graphic design phase.
The entire Designli team has done a fantastic job. Designli has opened up my way of thinking to facilitate new ideas and bring them into reality. The team has thought of things I didn't know I needed.
The design team transformed the initial concept into a structured, clickable prototype covering all primary features, including navigation, member tools, and safety functions. The prototype was used to align stakeholders, secure internal approval, and prepare for the engineering phase. […] The clarity of the prototype reduced projected development time and minimized rework by resolving UX questions early.
Designli is developing our end client's mobile app and website from scratch. We started with a discovery phase where we set high-level requirements, and Designli has been responsible for the UX/UI design and frontend development. It provides value to our users.
The SolutionLab had shed the lights on very important attributes prior we start on this project and this was key value for it.
